About Us

Who We Are

The Grover Beach Police Officers Association is comprised of men and women who serve in the City's Police department in Patrol, Detectives, Dispatch, Records and Reserve positions. Each and every day, 365 days a year, our members ensure the safety and quality of life each Citizen is entitled to while enjoying our City's peaceful scenery and robust economy. Our members also conduct and assist in outside events that helps our Community in a variety of ways. By doing so, our members gain satisfaction knowing we are doing everything we can to ensure that our People, our Citizens, our Community are safe and free to fulfill their lawful endeavors.

Statement of Purpose

The objective and purpose of this Association shall be to assist in promoting the professionalism of the police service; to represent the regular members of the Association in all matters of wages, hours and conditions of employment; to encourage among all members a closer personal acquaintance and a friendly spirit of mutual cooperation; encourage, contribute to, and promote the highest degree of efficiency possible in the duties of the profession among the members of the Association; to encourage, contribute to, and promote the good citizenship of the youth in the community; to assist the elderly and needy in the community when possible; to assist whenever possible in all matters pertaining to the welfare and advancement of all members of the Association and to promote more efficient police services to the community of Grover Beach.
